Hi, I’m Krisann, a U.S. Army Veteran and Systems Engineer Senior with over 14 years of experience supporting enterprise and mission-critical IT environments. I currently work at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), where I support global operations across complex, multi-platform infrastructures.

My work focuses heavily on virtualization and cloud-based environments, including VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, Citrix, NSX, and Horizon. I’m involved in infrastructure stabilization, system optimization, log analysis, and troubleshooting complex platform issues, often working directly with vendor engineering teams to resolve critical problems and improve performance.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree to further deepen my expertise in secure systems and emerging technologies. I also maintain multiple industry certifications, including CASP+ (SecurityX), VCP-DCV, CySA+, Security+, and others, which support my focus on secure and resilient system design.

Throughout my career, I’ve supported secure infrastructure operations in regulated environments, contributed to cloud and virtualization initiatives, and delivered hands-on technical support in fast-paced, high-impact settings.

Before transitioning fully into enterprise IT, I managed multi-location operations at Sew Easy Sewing, LLC, where I developed strong leadership and communication skills. That experience continues to shape how I translate complex technical issues into clear, actionable solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.

I’m committed to continuous learning and hands-on skill development. I actively participate in cybersecurity challenges and have ranked in the top 1% of over 2.6 million users on TryHackMe.
